Dog Bathers

As a Pet Bather, you will help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of both pets and the salon. You’ll work closely with our groomers to prepare pets for grooming, all while keeping a close eye on their comfort and well-being. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about animals and interested in growing their career in pet care.

• Bathe and dry dogs of all breeds in a calm, gentle manner.
   
• Brush, comb, and detangle coats; perform deshedding treatments.
   
• Trim nails and clean ears during the grooming process.
   
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
   
• Observe and report signs of stress, discomfort, or health issues.
   
• Communicate pet needs with owners and team members.
   
• Assist with kennel upkeep and safe animal handling as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide professional grooming services primarily for dogs, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping.
• Cat grooming is minimal and occasional, and not a required part of the role.
• Evaluate the condition of pets’ coats and skin and offer care and maintenance recommendations.
• Ensure safe, gentle, and humane handling of all animals throughout the grooming process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming workspace and equipment.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with pet owners about grooming preferences, schedules, and any observed health concerns.

Stay current with grooming trends, techniques, and best practices in the industry

 What we're looking for :

• Grooming school certificate or equivalent experience.
   
• At least 1 year of professional grooming experience.
   
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and owner preferences.
   
• Skilled in safe animal handling and restraint.
   
• Familiar with a wide range of dog breeds and grooming needs.
   
• Detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure.
   
• Friendly, reliable, and professional communicator.
   
• Passionate about animal care and well-being.
